Vanishing Trick[076]
Written Walkthrough #036

  • brief description: A puzzle extending in three distinct directions, introducing the feared phaseshifter Cubes.
  • hint: Jump onto the phaseshifter Cubes when they've just appeared for maximum safety.
  • solution: Turn 180°, roll to the other side. Jump across to the next solid Cube [collect everything there if you like], turn right on it to face the floating island with the keys on it. Jump across to that, collect everything. Then go to the end of the island where the phaseshifter Cubes are, to the center, jump onto the phaseshifter Cube infront of you and roll across it to its other side, and instantly jump back onto the island, this time onto the other side. Collect all you need, then return, jumping wise, to the central solid Cube. Facing away from the island, on the center Cube now, turn left and roll foward, then jump over to the exit. [Note: If you want the fruit, you will have to take this path to the exit square before you have collected the keys]

  • Astral Bridge[077]
    Written Walkthrough #037

  • brief description: Quite a horribly level where...
  • hint: ...timing is everything. What's neat here is if you jump just a half a second before a phaseshifter Cube appears, you should land on it safely anyway, but I don't suggest trying that unless you're desperate or a Kula World veteran; or, alternatively, have a great sense of timing.
  • solution: Taking great care in the timing, remembering what I said to the previous level about maximum security, leap over to the Cuberow. You're best to do this with the X button held down instead of hitting X each time again, you will eventually jump over the edge of one the phaseshifter Cubes if you try that, because of the inaccuracies, and the sheer length of the perilous 'bridge'. Don't panic if you see the Cube under you turning white. Phaseshifters take a while to phase out, and even if they're busy vanishing, you still have a good beachball-grip on them... so don't panic, or you will screw up because of your panic. Roll foward [and to the end and onto the end and collect all you want if you want], jump onto the bounce Pad. Turn left, roll forward, turn left, roll forward again. Turn right, then roll forward thrice (onto the bounce Pad, which should now fling you into the right direction). Jump onto the Cuberow, collect the key, and align yourself at the end of the Cuberow waiting for the phaseshifters. Jump to the exit like you did jump to the section with the keys - with a pressed X button.

  • Conspiracy of Spikes[078]
    Written Walkthrough #038

  • brief description: Tiny level consiting of one morse code-ish Cuberow of which two single Cubes are phaseshifters, and the Cubes beyond that almost completely covered with spikes - ouch!
  • hint: No, landing on spikes won't, under any circumstances work, and yes, this means you cannot jump onto the far end Cubes.
  • solution: Jump forward, roll forward, and bounce once. You should now have the key. Let yourself fall from this state back onto the solid Cubes (don't panic and try to roll-jump there!). Roll foward. You now have the fruit. Jump and collect the coins. Now, carefully time your first connection with the phaseshifter for the maximum longevity you can tickle out of it with whatever skill level you have... turn 180° quickly and roll foward. Then let yourself drop (onto the exit square).

  • Indecisiveness[079]
    Written Walkthrough #039

  • brief description: Eight solid Cubes (4 of them firefield Cubes) as the corners of a thought, larger Cube. Phaseshifters at the thought edges of the "bottom" and "top" of the Cube, alternating in existence.
  • hint: The alternating-in-existence thing was a hint.
  • solution: Simple concept: When you jump onto a phaseshifter, wait till it vanishes, and you will drop onto the one below. This way, this level should be a breeze, and you shouldn't have to touch the firefield Cubes.

  • Crossing Jordan[081]
    Written Walkthrough #034

  • brief description: A twodimensional puzzle set up that forces you to jump from Cuberow to Cuberow by being littered with arrows at the edges of the rectangular setup.
  • hint: There's no easy way to do this.
  • solution: Rely on luck and timing. Jump from row to row avoiding the enemies. Sadly, they're not very predictable in their movement... and that's all there is to say to this level, really. Good luck.

  • Traffic Police[082]
    Written Walkthrough #035

  • brief description: There's a Q-ish shaped island at the one end of this level. Leading to it are two rows of several doublecubes, of which the inner one is always a Crumble Cube. Ergo, you can hop over to the island, but cannot turn on the way, nor can you go back the way you came from.
  • hint: Don't waste your Crumble Cubes on impossible maneouvers.
  • solution: Hop over to the island using the Crumble blocks. Collect what you need there (watch out for the enemies; a good tactic is to wait in the middle of the section till the enemy is right infront of you - then jump and roll to the end). Before you hop back to where you came from, roll over one of the ice blocks to the other side, repeat procedure. Then return to your starting point. Now collect the coins from the rows of Double Cubes (careful with the lethargy pills, to avoid them, roll to the side of the structure). When you're at one of the Cubes near the Q-ish structure, hop onto it from the side. Roll over the ice Cube to the last key. Then roll till the gap between the Ice Cubes is below you and just in jumping distance (so you fall through when you jump). Jump. Now roll to the exit, but not onto it yet. Roll instead over the Crumble Cube at this side of the puzzle, stop on the next Cube [attention: Fruit is just below you if you want it], turn 180°, roll foward, then turn left (or right) and roll forward twice, till you are on the Crumble Cube and it breaks below you. Let yourself fall. Have some blind faith. You should land on a farsighted invisible Cube, and a Void Exit should be where the Crumble Cube was moments before.
